At Wunderman, I was the lead copywriter on digital projects that included a full scale redevelopment of the Theraflu website, content creation, rich media banners, pre roll videos, a Watson AI partnership and a large scale activation campaign.

From the beginnings of UX planning to full copy deck development, I helped take Theraflu's website through a full relaunch. This included the introduction of Theraflu Caplets, a totally new product in the Theraflu lineup. Users can quickly find the right Theraflu product to fit their symptoms and preferences. There's also useful lifestyle content around cold and flu, along with video FAQ's for in depth answers to common questions. Please visit www.theraflu.com for a full site experience on desktop, mobile or tablet. (Click on the images to enlarge)

I concepted and wrote several pieces of fun, informative content that can be found on the Power Living section of the website. We cover topics such as how germs spread on airplanes, immunity boosting food and drinks you can take on-the-go, and a fun quiz that tests your knowledge on the differences between cold, flu and allergies. Here are just a handful of those pieces. (Click on the thumbnails)

Theraflu is a brand of cold and flu medicine for those who want fast, powerful relief, so they can get right back to doing what's important to them. They'll overcome any challenge, like battling cold and flu symptoms. We created an activation campaign called What Powers You? where we profile five people who are incredibly dedicated to doing what they love. Through two video mini-documentaries and three written stories, get to know what powers them and also think about what powers you?

Every two weeks, Greg Mahle of Rescue Road Trips makes a week long, cross-country journey to rescue dogs from kill shelters and then delivers them to their forever homes.

Ajay Relan started #HashtagLunchbag out of a desire to give back. Now he leads a worldwide organization of volunteers who gather to make and hand out lunches, while also providing a little conversation to those who really need it.

On both the Theraflu website and the Weather Channel website, users can use a nifty little application to see if cold and flu is currently running rampant in their area. In partnership with the Weather Channel, we created the Cold and Flu Tracker. Aggregating social media mentions and other crowdsourcing criteria, the tracker monitors reports of cold and flu by zip code and produces a realtime Sickscore. Using this score, users can easily understand the current threat level near them and can prepare accordingly. Try the cold and flu tracker right now for your area.

Theraflu joined forces with Watson AI to offer customers a powerful and unique way to get answers to common cold and flu questions. Users can speak, type or click on suggested prompts to get information from Watson. Users can engage in a full conversation with Watson, building on one answer to the next. Watson will also use video FAQ's from the Theraflu website to answer certain questions.
